How to get to Dinard

How to get to Dinard in Northern Brittany? Well connected by road networks, Dinard Côte d’Émeraude is easy to reach by car or coach. With the Saint-Malo TGV station, our region is also accessible by train, including a high-speed connection (LGV) from Paris (2h15). A bus or taxi service will then take you to one of our resorts for your stay.
By train
The nearest SNCF train station is in Saint-Malo. To reach Saint-Malo, you can take the TER line from Rennes (45 minutes to 1 hour) or the direct TGV line from Paris (2 hours 15 minutes).

From Paris:

By car
From Paris:
To reach Dinard Côte d’Émeraude, follow the A11 motorway – Paris/Rennes (L’Océane) (travel time: about 3 hours). Then, take the 4-lane RN137 – Rennes/Dinard: 45 minutes.
From Normandy / Northern France / Belgium:
Take the Estuaries Motorway (A84) to Caen, then use the 4-lane road towards Saint-Malo and Dinard.

Dinard free shuttle
The free summer shuttle runs from July 10 to August 24, 2025 inclusive. Every day from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., reach downtown Dinard in 15 minutes from the park-and-ride lots.
Park-and-ride locations: Parking de l’Hermitage and Parking de la Ville-Billy in La Richardais
Stops in Dinard: Notre-Dame Church and the Tourist Office
Departures every 30 minutes. Last departure at 11:15 p.m. from the Tourist Office stop
The shuttle is free and open to all. It is also accessible to people with reduced mobility. Bicycles are not allowed.
By plane
Dinard/Pleurtuit Airport is located in the Dinard Côte d’Émeraude area, about 5 kilometers from the center of Dinard. The airport offers private aviation services only.

By boat

The nearest port to Dinard Côte d’Émeraude is the Port of Saint-Malo (10 km away). Year-round connections are available to England and the Channel Islands with Condor Ferries and Brittany Ferries.
