In the early 20th century, Isidore Odorico (1893–1945), a renowned mosaic artist from Rennes of Italian origin, took over the family business and opened three branches in Angers, Nantes, and Dinard.

From the entrances of the most luxurious boutiques to the doormats of more modest hotels, the works of this family of Italian immigrants continue to illuminate facades and floors throughout your visit. Stroll through the streets of downtown in search of these marvels of color and form, created by these famous mosaic artists. Keep your eyes open, look up—a whole world of unexpected details awaits you.
