From the early 19th century onward, the burgeoning seaside resort welcomed a large Anglo-Saxon community that helped introduce sporting activities to France.

Tennis, golf, yachting, and horse racing are all “chic” sports inherited from our English friends.

As we explore the sports facilities, your guide will recount the history of sports and the venues dedicated to recreational activities, which were highly sought after by vacationers in search of social life.
