Émeraude Tri Race, the event to push your limits

The Athletes’ Gathering

Émeraude Tri Race is a must-attend sporting event on Brittany’s Emerald Coast. Do you love cycling, swimming, and running—and the stunning views of the northern coast of Brittany? Then come take part in the Dinard Côte d’Émeraude swimrun triathlon—this race is made for you!
Nearly a thousand athletes gather every September for this unique race.

  • 1.9 km of swimming at Longchamp, a large family-friendly beach popular with surfers
  • 90 km of cycling on the roads of the Emerald Coast
  • 21 km of running among the grand villas of Saint-Lunaire and along the more rugged trails of the GR 34 in Saint-Briac-sur-Mer

Émeraude Events, the organizing association, was one of the first in France to introduce the Swim Run race.
The concept? Alternating between swimming in the emerald-colored waters of our coastline and running along the coastal customs trail.

A Race Across the Emerald Coast

The most breathtaking landscapes of the Emerald Coast await you along the swimrun triathlon route.
From the charming beach of Saint-Sieu in Lancieux to the wild Pointe du Nick in Saint-Lunaire, passing through the elegant Balcon d’Émeraude in Saint-Briac-sur-Mer—prepare to be amazed!

The Emerald Coast invites you to explore its rugged cliffs, fine sandy beaches, Belle Époque villas, and peaceful villages. Whether you’ve come to race or simply to cheer on the athletes, we welcome you to discover our precious land.
