Certifying your Bed and Breakfast
Since 2006, the law defines a bed and breakfast by limiting the accommodation capacity to 5 rooms, with no more than 15 people.
Do you want to open a b&b on the Emerald Coast? The Tourist Office can assist you in your efforts to obtain the Chambre d’Hôtes Référence label. The French National Federation of Tourist Offices, Offices de Tourisme de France®, has established a national standard to qualify bed and breakfasts.
This “Chambre d’Hôtes Référence” certification is granted for five years and ensures guests a satisfactory level of quality in the services provided.
