Plage du Rieul
It is the ideal place for winter storage of recreational boats.
This beach is located in the Frémur estuary.
Unsupervised beach.
Parking and beach access:
- Access by car: a few free parking spaces are available on Rue du Rieul. Access to the beach is via a footpath followed by a short flight of stairs.
- Access by public transportation: BreizhGo – Lines 214 and 212, Église stop (900-meter walk to the beach).
Pets:
Pets are allowed on the second section of Rieul Beach year-round (the right side starting from Rue du Rieul).
Exposure and swimming conditions:
Rieul Beach faces east.
The beach is covered at high tide. Swimming is recommended during the ebb tide. At low tide, the beach is completely exposed. The water quality is rated “Excellent” by the Ministry of Health (2025).
