Plage du Perron
The unspoiled Perron Beach is located below Pointe de la Haye.
At low tide, you can reach Île du Perron via a sandbar. Be sure to check the tide schedules before heading there.
The beach is unsupervised.
Parking and beach access:
- Access by car: The nearest parking lot is on Rue des Essarts. It is free. To reach the beach, follow Chemin du Perron and then the GR34 for 550 meters.
- Access by public transportation: BreizhGo - Line 516, Le Golf or La Houle stop. It is a 1.5 km walk to the beach.
Access is only via the GR34 trail, then down a set of stairs to the beach.
Pets:
Pets are allowed on Perron Beach from September 16 to June 14.
Exposure and swimming conditions:
Perron Beach is a small, west-facing beach with fine sand. The water quality is rated “Excellent” by the Ministry of Health (2025).
Swimming is possible at both high tide and low tide.
