Plage de Saint-Sieu
Lancieux’s main beach, stretching for nearly a kilometer, is a favorite spot for families. An internationally renowned sailing destination, the seaside promenade is accessible to people with limited mobility.
You can also come and watch the horse races on this beach, which is transformed into a marine racetrack once a year.
Lifeguard-patrolled beach during the season - Lifeguard station: 02 96 86 22 52 (in summer).
Parking and beach access:
- Access by car: plenty of free parking spaces along Boulevard de la Mer. Access to the beach via stairs, except at both ends where two ramps lead down to the beach.
- Access by public transit: BreizhGo – Lines 214 and 212, Église stop (650-meter walk to the beach).
Pets:
Pets are allowed on Saint-Sieu Beach from October 1 to April 30.
Exposure and swimming conditions:
Saint-Sieu Beach faces northwest. The water quality is rated “Excellent” by the Ministry of Health (2025).
Swimming is possible at both high and low tide. Certain areas are reserved for water sports.
