Plage de la Petite Salinette
Although the “Little Salinette” is less well-known to tourists, it is no less breathtaking, offering the same view of the bay of Saint-Briac-sur-Mer: from there, you can see the coastline all the way to Cap Fréhel.
Also lined with typical white beach huts, Petite Salinette Beach is home to the Saint-Briac Yacht Club.
The beach is not lifeguarded.
Parking and beach access:
- By car: The nearest parking lot is on Rue des Essarts. It is free. To reach the beach, follow Chemin des Essarts for 200 meters.
- Access by public transportation: BreizhGo - Line 516, La Houle stop. It’s about a 1 km walk to the beach.
Access is via stairs leading down to the beach.
Pets:
Pets are allowed on Petite Salinette Beach from September 16 to June 14.
Exposure and swimming conditions:
La Petite Salinette is a small, fine-sand beach facing southwest and sheltered from the wind. The water quality is rated “Excellent” by the Ministry of Health (2025).
Swimming is possible at both high tide and low tide.
