Parking and beach access:
- Access by car: free parking on Rue du Port Thomas. Pedestrian access via a steeply sloping street (about 100 meters from the parking lot to the beach).
- Access by public transit: BreizhGo – Line 516, Le Tertre Herrioux stop (about a 700-meter walk to the beach).
Access to the beach is also possible via the GR34 (parking available at a lot located at Pointe du Nick, 600 meters away).

Pets are allowed on Fosse aux Vaults Beach from September 16 to June 14.
Exposure and swimming conditions:
La Fosse aux Vaults is a small, north-facing beach with fine sand. Pointe du Nick shelters it from the wind. The water quality is rated “Excellent” by the Ministry of Health (2025).
Swimming is possible at both high tide and low tide.
