Immersion in French Culture

Looking for an immersive stay to learn French in a different way? Head to Brittany, just a stone's throw from Saint-Malo, for a unique linguistic and human experience, brought to you by My French Week.

This program is designed for both young people and adults, offering a natural and caring approach to language learning: no traditional classes, but real, living French—within a family setting—through daily life, activities, games, and conversation. Participants experience total immersion in a supportive, stimulating, and 100% French-speaking environment.

For young people: during school holidays

Stays are available for young participants during school holidays:

Autumn Break: October 18 to November 3, 2025

Spring Break: April 18 to May 5, 2026

Groups are organized by age (middle school and high school students are separated). Arrival is on Saturday, with a choice of sports or artistic activities led by our local partners:
Tennis, Golf, Water Sports, Horseback Riding, Ceramics, or even French Cooking.

Young participants are hosted at the teachers’ homes, in two neighboring houses, in either individual or shared rooms depending on the arrangement.

For adults: tailored and flexible

Immersive stays for adults are available on request, year-round. Whether you're a beginner, changing careers, or simply a lover of the French language, several formats are available—with or without activities:

At My French Week, you learn French by living it: meals, outings, discussions, and games—all are opportunities to speak, understand, and express yourself. The goal: to build confidence, enrich your vocabulary, and discover French as it is truly spoken.

Age: from 12 years old (youth programs); no age limit for adults
Price: €890 to €1800 per week (ask for our detailed programs)
Dates: School holidays (Zone C – Autumn and Spring) for youth / Year-round for adults
Location: Lancieux (Brittany), near Saint-Malo
Accommodation: Homestay (with teachers)
