The idea for the shelter came to me when the first animals arrived in 2016! I've always loved animals. This love comes from my great-aunt, who lived surrounded by animals.
So for many years now, we've been working with and for animals. We want to open the doors of our refuge to individuals and visitors who want to find out more about nature.
Little by little, all the animals arrived at the shelter. They were either culled animals (dairy cows and goats, laying hens, etc.) or animals from individuals who could no longer keep them... Each one has its own story!
We opened the farm and our association “Les P'tits Coeurs de Solidor” to guided tours in the summer of 2021, because we figured it was the right time to present our project to the public!
