Atelier Galerie - Retour au port
Multi-technique engraver and stone sculptor, come to my studio to discover my artistic creations available for sale.
I am Artiste Quebriac, a multi-technique engraver and stone sculptor. After a period of my life spent mastering stone and granite, I inherited the family skills of sculptor and stonemason.
Engraving occupies a beautiful page in my life: it was in Burgundy, between 1994 and 1997, in Parly (89400), near Auxerre, that I had one of my most memorable encounters, at the Métairie Bruyère, a graphic arts center unique in Europe. There I met the late Robert and Lydia Dutrou, famous engravers, printers, typographers, and internationally renowned lithographers. Robert Dutrou, the official engraver of the Catalan artist Joan Miró, had worked for the Maeght Foundation and for Antoni Tàpies, among others. Today, their daughter Corinne Dutrou and her husband Christian Mamerot are continuing this family tradition of artistic transmission. The artist Pierre Alechinsky also worked extensively in the field of printmaking at the Métairie Bruyère.
From 2000 to 2002, I took evening classes at the École des Beaux-Arts in Rennes, then at the École d'Art Plastique in Saint-Malo.
Today, in my Dinard studio, located at 15 bis avenue Édouard VII in Dinard (35800), I offer my artistic creations for sale. My studio is equipped with a 1.30 x 0.50 m intaglio press, which allows me to produce woodcuts, resin prints, Rhenalon prints, and cardboard prints, not to mention my stone sculptures.
“Art is the creation of tomorrow and the discovery of another day.”
